WISCONSIN ON THE ROCKS-This is my own place for unsigned bands that hail from Wisconsin. It's emphasis will be on hard rock/metal but everything is welcome. If I post anything that any one from the bands involved object to please contact me and it will be removed. This is just a chance to give some exposure to many of the great bands around here that never "made it". Viogression - Expound & Exhort 1991
Simply put-if you love Obituary, you should love this disc. If you don't care for John Tardy and co. then these guys probably won't do much for you. With that said, don't just write these guys off as an Obituary clone, though the style is similar, they are still very much their own band. There is also a little more speed injected into this bunch and the vocals sometimes veer into horrifying screams. Milwaukee may have just been the wrong place for their brutal death metal and if Florida would have been where these guys called home, they too could have been with the Floridian death metal elite.
