Bring on the Apocalypse-First Strike- 2012

The self released debut by young wisconsin thrashers Bring On the Apocalypse. The average age of these guys is around 17 but they are pretty old school in their approach to thrash. These kids definitely seem to have what it takes. Highly recommended for fans of Megadeth, Testament, Suicidal Tendencies, Evile, Muninciple Waste, Forbidden, Death Angel and many more.

  1. Man...just heard this debut....There seems to be a problem with the drums though....
    They don't fit so well...
    Guitar playing is suberb...
They should also exclude the ''black'' vocals....imo...

  2. Yeah, well the drummer had potential but the little fat f*ck would rather smoke pot all night than show up at practice and when he did show up it was four hours later. They changed their name to Chemical Strike and recorded another three song demo which was supposed to be a full length but once again the drummer screwed that up too and they ended up with only three tunes. The producer literally threw his hands up in disgust and threatened to pull the plug on the whole thing. As far as I understood it, the producer/engineer did both of the projects for free because he was friends with Steele's dad. The same drummer also ripped off several guys in the band. What sucks is the guy genuinely had some talent but was so lazy he couldn't be bothered. The guitar playing is much better on the second one. Not sure what any of these guys are doing now.
